I wanted to invite everyone to the free screening of a documentary about a family’s story of intergenerational deafness. In this deeply personal and moving documentary, the filmmaker herself explores deafness, loss, and the power of silence. Her son discovers his unique voice through Beethoven’s music while her parents confront a new chapter of their lives. The film will be presented with open captions and headsets for descriptive audio.
We’re playing MOONLIGHT SONATA: DEAFNESS IN THREE MOVEMENTS on Wednesday, August 21, at 7:00 PM at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center in Salt Lake City. The event is free and open to the public. We will also be hosting a post-film Q&A with filmmaker Irene Taylor Brodsky. An ASL translator will be present for the discussion.
You can see the trailer and more info at this link.
Please feel free to spread the word and reach out to others who may be interested in this film.
Thank you! Please contact Davey Davis, email@example.com, with any questions about the screening.
