How many times have you wanted the full story on the local news, weather, or sports only to have the captions disappear? Here is your chance to tell us the good, the bad and the ugly (or the beautiful!) about your local captioned news programs.

Take the survey here:

Background: Real Time Captioning is required on major news networks (like ABC, NBC, CBS, and Fox) and affiliates of those networks in the top 25 markets, like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas-Ft. Worth.

But if you live in Baltimore, Nashville, Indianapolis, San Diego, Salt Lake City, or other, smaller markets, you may not be getting real time captioning of your local news.

We would like your impressions of your local captioning on TV news, no matter where you live. This survey will help us report back to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) what you are seeing in your home town.

Remember, all the questions are only related to local television news programs, not national news programs or pre-recorded shows.
