Vynola Dean Kernell Perkins, 90, passed away at home on Oct. 27, 2016. She was born Sept. 4, 1926 to Charles Wallace and Ellen Brown Kernell. Married on June 6, 1946 to Lloyd H. Perkins in the Salt Lake Temple.

She became deaf when she was three, lived in a “dug out” on the Arizona Strip, attended Arizona and Utah Schools for the Deaf. She loved her family, friends, traveling, sewing, quilting and genealogy.

Survived by her children; Lloyd (Carol), Kerry (Connie), Susan, Patricia (Mark), 10 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren, siblings; Charles, Rosemary and Patricia.

Memorial services begin at noon on November 12, at the L.D.S. Church
on 6100 S. Kamas Dr. (2600 W.) Taylorsville, Utah.
She will be laid to rest beside her mother in Kanab, Utah.
