We wanted to be sure you are invited to attend the Annual Fall Bazaar at the Sanderson Community Center this weekend! Bring your family and friends to the Sanderson Center and be a part of this great event!
Friday, November 4th from 5 pm to 9 pm
Saturday, November 5th from 9 am to 5 pm
Utah’s deaf and hard of hearing community will be coming together at the Fall Bazaar at the Sanderson Center in Taylorsville. More than 40 vendors will be selling arts and crafts and other handmade products made by deaf and hard of hearing community members. Food trucks will be on-site and informational booths will also be on display to educate attendees about services and resources available.
The bazaar is one of the most popular events of the year for this community with hundreds of people expected to attend. It has been held for more than 25 years to bring the deaf and hard of hearing community together and celebrate their culture. The general public is also invited to attend the event to try their hand at American Sign Language and to learn more about the community.
The event is free and open to the public. For more information, visit usor.utah.gov/dhh
The Sanderson Community Center is also doing a food collection drive to benefit the Utah Food Bank and is collecting food donations until November 16th. Food donations can be dropped off in the front lobby area. Ideas of food donations needed are: Tuna, Peanut Butter, Chili, Canned Vegetables, Hamburger Helper, Mac & Cheese, Dry Pasta and Canned Fruit. Help us give back to the community by donating to the Utah Food Bank.
We look forward to seeing you this weekend at the Annual Fall Bazaar!
